The book The Renovation of Vietnam’s Foreign Policy towards ASEAN in the Period 1986–2016 is the first systematic review of the development of Vietnam’s foreign policy since 1986 from the perspective of Vietnam itself. It offers an overview of Vietnam’s foreign relations, and of its adjustments and developments in the foreign policy towards ASEAN during the 30 years of Đổi Mới. Finally, it proposes a policy towards ASEAN for the next ten years.
