William A. Haseltine is President and Founder of ACCESS Health International, an organization dedicated to promoting access to high-quality, affordable health care worldwide. He is also President of the William A. Haseltine Foundation for Medical Sciences and the Arts. Previously, Haseltine was a professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health. He founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Human Genome Sciences, Inc. His research work is well known in areas including cancer, HIV/AIDS, and genomics, and he has authored more than two hundred peer-reviewed journal articles.
