TT: The second ASEAN's People's Assembly (APA) was held in Bali (In- donesia) from 30 August to 1 September 2002. It was a big success. The second APA, or APA 2002, was not merely a continuation of the first APA, held in Batam (Indonesia) on 24-26 November 2000. It was meant to create a number of region-wide networks (APA net- works) that are issue-specific. Networking amongst the peoples and People's Organizations (POS) in ASEAN will help create the basis upon which people's aspirations and voice could be more systematically articulated and be made more influential in ASEAN's agenda setting.
